VOCO Aligns With TeamSmile to Promote Oral Health Among America’s Underserved Youth

VOCO America is proud to announce a new partnership with TeamSmile, a national nonprofit based in Kansas City, Missouri, that’s dedicated to the oral health of America’s underserved youth. VOCO has established an ongoing material sponsorship that includes donations of restorative and preventive materials, as well as a presence at local TeamSmile events in support of the dental professionals who volunteer their services. In its effort to further TeamSmile’s mission to “provide children in need with a life-changing dental experience through the power of sports,” VOCO will participate in various TeamSmile events across the nation, including Milwaukee, Washington, D.C. and others.

TeamSmile is a leading advocacy group that partners with local sports franchises — including the National Football League and Major League Baseball — and dental professionals to promote their community events and increase oral health awareness within the child and adolescent at-risk population. During these events — which include games, dancing, music, face painting and more — TeamSmile brings together professional athletes, cheerleaders, team mascots, dentists, dental hygienists, and community volunteers to deliver oral health education, screenings and treatment.
