Developed in a partnership between the Academy for Academic Leadership and Colgate-Palmolive, a faculty training program entitled “Foundations of Conducting Clinical Research” is tailored to educators interested in beginning a career in research. The six-module online program focuses on the fundamentals of conducting oral health research, and includes sessions on ethical research practices, designing a clinical research study, data collection and management, basic statistics, scientific writing, and scientific publishing.
The program is hosted on the Colgate Dental Educators website, colgatedentaleducators network.com. Dental school faculty interested in participating in the new training program should contact the Colgate academic manager in their region.
