
Virginia Dental Association Tells Patients to Avoid Hospitals for Emergency Dental Care
As hospitals across the United States struggle to handle an overwhelmingly high number of COVID-19 patients, the Virginia Dental Association (VDA) has made a public plea to keep patients with dental issues out of emergency departments. Virginia Governor Ralph S. Northam issued an emergency order on January 10 to expand the state’s hospital capacity after a record number of hospital admissions the week before.
