CHICAGO, IL — February 19, 2026 — Kuraray America Inc. announces the official launch of CERABIEN™ MiLai, its newest esthetic micro-layering ceramic system, at LMT LAB DAY™ 2026, taking place February 19–21, 2026. The product will be showcased at Booth #H-16, East Tower, and Lecture Hall: Grand Hall G, East Tower Ballroom Gold Level, with live demonstrations and hands-on experiences throughout the event.
With highly esthetic ceramic materials now available for indirect restorations, it is no longer necessary to design high-strength frameworks and add multiple layers of porcelain. Today, thanks to advancements in zirconia and lithium disilicate (LiDiSi), restorations can be manufactured with a monolithic design or minimal cutback. Using appropriate materials, a less complex micro-layering technique produces the desired outcomes, even when esthetic expectations are high. CERABIEN™ MiLai from Kuraray Noritake Dental is a new porcelain system specifically designed for this purpose. Its compact lineup of low-fusing porcelains and internal stains supports efficient, economical finishing procedures that deliver outstanding esthetics on the first attempt.
CERABIEN™ MiLai is designed with a focus on monolithic restorations and offers an extensive shade range to support surface glazing and staining with 31 Paint Pastes. For surface contouring and characterization, the system also includes 6 Build Pastes. Universal Compatibility
Due to the low firing temperature of all system components (740°C / 1,364°F), CERABIEN™ MiLai is compatible not only with zirconia but also with silicate ceramics such as IPS e.max substructures. This means fewer porcelain lines are needed, inventory is reduced, and decision-making is simplified.
