Happy Juneteenth!

0

On this federal holiday, Decisions in Dentistry celebrates Juneteenth, the end of slavery in the United States, and the freedom of all Americans. Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved Black Americans, living in Galveston, Texas, were notified that slavery had been abolished by President Abraham Lincoln in the Emancipation Proclamation of 1863.
