
New Report on Consumer Opinions Regarding Oral Health Is Released
A survey of 2,000 American adults and parents of children aged 12 and younger regarding their thoughts on oral health has some interesting findings. Conducted by Delta Dental, results showed that 92% of adults and 96% of parents believe that oral health is important to systemic health. Participants noted that saving money (87%) and preventing dental diseases such as caries and periodontitis (66%) were the motivating factors behind maintaining consistent oral hygiene habits. The report also found that environmentally conscious dental products are growing in popularity, with one in 10 adults choosing eco-friendly oral care products such as bamboo or plant-based toothbrushes.
