Hope Ignites for a Winding Down of the Global Pandemic
Two years after the world was thrust into the COVID-19 pandemic, the end may be nearing, with even Anthony Fauci, MD, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, noting that the United States is leaving the “full-blown pandemic phase of COVID-19.” Commenting to the Financial Times, Fauci also said that COVID-19-related decisions would move to local authorities instead of federal mandates or guidelines.
