COVID-19 Testing: Must Employers Cover the Cost?

On January 13, the Supreme Court struck down the federal government’s requirement that companies with more than 100 employees either mandate COVID-19 vaccination or weekly testing. For businesses located in California, Illinois, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, and South Dakota, the answer is yes because these states require employers to pay for any tests required for employment.
