Study Suggests the Unvaccinated Will Continually Come Down With COVID-19
A study conducted by researchers at the Yale School of Public Health surmise that unvaccinated individuals will catch COVID-19 every 16 months to 17 months due to waning natural immunity. Researchers used a model in which all individuals had either been vaccinated against COVID-19 or had already been infected by it. They found that the immunity gained from infection was fairly short lived, allowing continual reinfection. Because SARS-CoV-2 has not been circulating long enough to produce sufficient data, researchers used close viral relatives in their estimation. Click here to read more.
