Johnson & Johnson Seeks Approval for COVID-19 Booster Shot
United States pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson (J&J) has requested approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to allow booster shots of its one-dose COVID-19 to be administered to millions of Americans. J&J’s application asks for the booster shot to be made available to individuals age 18 and older who received an initial dose of the vaccine. The company submitted data on booster intervals from 2 months to 6 months following the initial dose. The FDA is scheduled to review J&J’s request on October 15. Click here to read more.
