Good News: Number of New COVID-19 Cases in the US Continues to Fall
The number of new COVID-19 cases in the United States has dropped by nearly a quarter since September, with all signs pointing to a continuing decline, especially as vaccinations become available to children ages 5 to 11. Cases have decreased in 40 states. States still experiencing increasing COVID-19 numbers are Colorado, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, South Dakota, and Vermont.
