The CDC Urges Pregnant Women to Be Vaccinated Against COVID-19
Pregnant women should be vaccinated against COVID-19 according to the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In a statement issued September 29, the federal agency noted that currently only about one-third of pregnant Americans are fully vaccinated, leaving them and their babies vulnerable to infection and illness. More than 125,000 pregnant women have been diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection since the pandemic began and 161 have died. Click here to read more.
