Maine Mandates COVID-19 Vaccination for Healthcare Workers, Including Oral Health Professionals

The governor of Maine, Janet Mills, instituted a COVID-19 vaccination mandate for all medical providers—including oral health professionals—in the state. The mandate includes those who work in dental practices, hospitals, healthcare facilities, home health agencies, nursing facilities, residential/intermediate care facilities, and all emergency medical service departments. Medical but not religious exemptions will be considered. Those impacted have until October 1, 2021, to comply. Click here to read more.
