US COVID-19-Related Travel Restrictions to Remain for the Foreseeable Future

Many Americans have lamented the COVID-19-related travel restrictions that have prevented visitors from a variety of countries from traveling to the United States. On July 26, the White House announced that these restrictions will remain in place for the foreseeable future due to the high transmissibility of the Delta variant and the increasing case numbers of SARS-CoV-2 across the US. Currently, non-US citizens who have been in the United Kingdom, Europe, Ireland, China, India, South Africa, and Brazil in the past 14 days are prevented from visiting the US.
