More Than 10,000 COVID-19 Infections Found Among Vaccinated Individuals
The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announces that more than 10,000 cases of “breakthrough” COVID-19 infections have been diagnosed among vaccinated Americans. The CDC also asserts that the actual number of breakthrough cases is likely much higher. The cases have been reported across 46 states and occurred between January 1 and April 30, 2021. Of those vaccinated against COVID-19 who later became infected with SARS-CoV-2, 27% displayed no symptoms, 10% were hospitalized, and 2% died. Click here to read more.
