Many Kids With COVID-19 Show No Symptoms
A Canadian study of more than 2,400 children who received a COVID-19 test found that over one-third of those diagnosed with the infection were asymptomatic. Out of the 2,463 subjects, 1,987 tested positive for COVID-19 and 476 tested negative. Of the positive tests, 714 were asymptomatic. This is worrisome because it means that children may spread the novel coronavirus without ever knowing they have the infection. It also makes opening schools challenging, as most have been using symptom screening to assess for possible infections. Click here to read more.
