Dental Practices Are Open but Hiring Staff Is a Challenge

According to polling data from the American Dental Association Health Policy Institute, 99% of dental practices are open and treating patients, which is great news. However, one-third reported difficulty in recruiting dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff due to the global pandemic. Conducted during the week of October 5, poll results also showed that 80% of respondents found it difficult to recruit dental hygienists and 70% noted challenges in hiring dental assistants.
