Vaping May Raise Risk of COVID-19 Among Teenagers and Young Adults

A Stanford University School of Medicine study found that teenagers and young adults who vape are five to seven times more likely to develop COVID-19 than their peers who do not use electronic cigarette devices. Study results are based on survey data of those between the ages 13 and 24 across the United States. Those who dually vape and smoke traditional cigarettes are at the greatest risk of infection. Lung damage caused by vaping and smoking is thought to be behind this increased risk. Read more here.
