West Virginia University Dental School Names Interim Dean

Fotinos Panagakos, PhD, vice dean of administration and research, has been named interim dean of West Virginia University School of Dentistry.  

 Panagakos joined the school in August 2018. He is the coeditor of three books focusing on gingival disease, oral lesions and evidence-based interventions for common oral conditions. His research has focused on the effects of improved oral health on chronic diseases, according to the college.
