DentaQuest Partnership Offers Free Continuing Education Courses to Support Dentists’ Return to Work
Online learning center features enriching content with courses in infection control, teledentistry, value-based care and other practice improvement topics.
The DentaQuest Partnership for Oral Health Advancement is offering free online continuing education credit courses for dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants and other dental care team members, including a COVID-19 Education Series designed to help educate in the areas of infection control and other best practices for the re-opening of dental clinics.
The DentaQuest Partnership’s online learning center offers engaging resources – free of charge – for dentists and other healthcare providers looking to implement practice improvement initiatives and prevention-focused care. All courses are designed and delivered by expert faculty members, including clinicians, academics, data scientists, government and nonprofit leaders and oral health educators.
Recognized by the American Dental Association’s continuing education recognition program, the DentaQuest Partnership’s online courses are accepted by all U.S. professional licensing jurisdictions with continuing education requirements related to oral health care.
The COVID-19 Education Series currently includes the following courses:
- Infection Control and Preventive Care During a National Health Care Crisis
- Teledentistry: Providing Alternative Care During a Public Health Crisis
- Infection Control: Questions & Answers About COVID-19
- Saliva and COVID-19 Testing in Clinical Dental Practice
- Best Practices for Infection Control in Dental Clinics
In addition to the COVID-19 courses, the online learning center includes 24 unique courses designed by expert faculty and DentaQuest Partnership leaders to educate clinicians on key practice improvement concepts including value-based oral health care, payment reform, social determinants of health, oral health disease management, interprofessional practice, silver diamine fluoride, opioids and dentistry, strategic scheduling and managing broken appointments, remineralization modalities and more.
Those interested in oral health continuing education can register and create a personalized catalog of on-demand courses through the online learning center portal or register to join upcoming courses live. Oral health learners can also sign-up to receive the DentaQuest Partnership’s monthly eNewsletter, which includes information about new webinars and courses.
