US Chamber of Commerce Lends a Hand to Small Business Owners
The US Chamber of Commerce—a national business-oriented lobbying group—has compiled a list of resources to help small businesses survive the economic downturn caused by COVID-19. The organization itself has created a toolkit that includes a business preparedness checklist and a customizable flyer for businesses to use when reaching out to their client base. Dentists may also contact their local Chamber of Commerce to see what resources are offered. The US Small Business Administration (SBA), an independent agency of the federal government, is funding disaster assistance loans up to $2 million to assist businesses affected by the pandemic.
