UB Program Introduces Native American Students to Careers in Dentistry

The University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and Seneca Nation Health has launched the Native American Pre-Dental Student Gateway Program to introduce Native American students to careers in dentistry.

The University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and Seneca Nation Health has launched the Native American Pre-Dental Student Gateway Program to introduce Native American students to careers in dentistry.

The initiative exposes students to various aspects of the profession through a weeklong internship that includes hands-on clinical training, an oral surgery boot camp, and a tour of local oral health product manufacturers. They also received guidance on applying to dental school and an introduction to dental specialties.
