Henry Schein Announces the Availability of Dentrix Enterprise 8.0.7
MELVILLE, N.Y., April 22, 2016 – Henry Schein Practice Solutions Inc., the U.S. practice solutions business of Henry Schein, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSIC), the world’s largest provider of health care products and services to office-based dental, animal health and medical practitioners, today announced the availability of Dentrix Enterprise 8.0.7. The new software upgrade enhances users’ ability to quickly navigate a single dashboard, helping dental practices become more efficient by eliminating the need to open multiple windows.
Dentrix Enterprise 8.0.7, developed as a result of customer feedback, features a new patient dashboard, helping office administrators access a complete patient overview, which includes the schedule of their next appointments, outstanding claims, account balances, other family members who are patients, and primary and secondary medical and dental insurance. The dashboard also features medical alerts, procedure history, treatment plans and health assessments. Together, these features, found on a single dashboard, help office administrators more easily navigate patient information.
“With upgrades to Dentrix Enterprise, industry-leading practice management software, customers can work in a paperless environment with maximum efficiency and ease, saving time for both the practice and patient,” said Kevin Bunker, President, North American Dental Practice Solutions. “At Henry Schein, we continue to develop innovative, robust systems that boost practice productivity and improve overall efficiency.”
In addition to improving access to patient information, the updated system simplifies the process for assigning specific individuals to private patient records and financial information, among other features. For example, office administrators can create groups so that only those with access – such as the front desk team – can identify patient and practice information, helping to ensure safe and secure protocols with these controls.
Users of Dentrix Enterprise 8.0.7 have been impressed with the enhanced capabilities. “The new patient dashboard is easy to use and saves time, putting a lot of useful information in one place,” said Peter Metz, Operations Director for Hana Health (Hana, Hawaii).
Dentrix Enterprise customers with an active customer service plan (CSP) can upgrade to Dentrix 8.0.7 free of charge by calling 855-360-0741. To enroll in the CSP, learn more about the software update, or find more information about Dentrix Enterprise, visit DentrixEnterprise.com.
