Lyndon F. Cooper, DDS, PhD, is the associate dean for research and head of the Department of Oral Biology at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. A diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, he served as the 2010 president of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP). Cooper received the ACP’s 2004 Clinician/Researcher Award and the 2009 International Association for Dental Research Distinguished Scientist Award for prosthodontics and implantology.
