Janice Schmitz, CDA, RDH, DHSc, is an associate professor of dental health at the Community College of Rhode Island in Lincoln. She is both a certified dental assistant and registered dental hygienist, and has been practicing dental hygiene for 20 years. Schmitz has been an educator since 2012.
