is president of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). He also chairs the Minnesota Dental Association political action committee board and sits on the AAPD political action committee board. A fellow of the American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy, Nickman maintains a pediatric practice in St. Paul, Minnesota, and teaches part-time at the University of Minnesota.
