Greg Goddard, DDS, is a life fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and a diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain. He has been treating patients with acupuncture for more than 35 years. A national and international lecturer, he has published journal articles, two books and several book chapters on temporomandibular disorders and acupuncture. Goddard has taught courses for dentists in state certification in the use of acupuncture, and has performed extensive research in acupuncture for myofascial pain at the University of California, San Francisco Center for Orofacial Pain, where he retired in 2007 as a clinical professor.
