Catrina Lanza, MHA, BSDH, RDH, is a clinical instructor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry in New Orleans where she is dedicated to mentoring and educating the next generation of dental hygiene professionals. With a strong background in clinical dental hygiene, she brings a well-rounded perspective to the classroom, combining real-world experience with an understanding of healthcare systems. Lanza’s commitment to education and improving patient care is at the heart of her work.
Angie Marshall-Reech, MEd, BSDH, RDH, CH-ONC, is an assistant professor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Her teaching responsibilities include ethics and law, pain management laboratory, clinical dental hygiene I, II, III, IV and research principles and methods. Marshall-Reech has more than 10 years of clinical experience in general practice. Her research interests focus on dental hygiene care for oncology patients and the oral effects of cancer therapies. A certificate holder in oncology through the National Network of Healthcare Hygienists, Marshall-Reech is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and has presented at local and regional meetings. Laura J. Southwick, MA, is an adjunct instructor for Weber State University at the Northern Utah Academy for Math, Engineering, and Science in Layton, Utah. She teaches academic writing and research.
Shannon W. Smith, MEd, RDH, is an assistant professor in the Dental Hygiene Program at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, where she works as second-year clinical coordinator.
