Adam E. Saltz, DMD, MS, MPH is the managing editor of Decisions in Dentistry. A practicing periodontist in the South Portland, Maine area, Saltz currently serves as faculty consultant at Kansas City University, where he developed its predoctoral periodontal curriculum. A diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, he focuses on minimally invasive surgery, perioprosthetics, and digitized implant workflows to deliver the highest quality interdisciplinary care. Saltz is currently president-elect of the Maine Dental Association, chairs multiple state and regional committees, and was recently appointed to the American Dental Association’s New Dentist Committee.
