Due to increasing demand for logistical support for charitable dental clinics, the America’s Dentists Care Foundation (ADCF) is ramping up its capabilities and launching a new fundraising campaign. Founded in 2008, ADCF provides the dental equipment for the Mission of Mercy clinics and other charitable organizations. This equipment has supported more than 200 clinics in 31 states. Staffed by volunteers, these clinics have seen more than 300,000 patients and provided nearly $250 million in charitable oral health care.
Executive Director Bill Blasing describes ADCF as a key element of the Mission of Mercy efforts, saying, “ADCF exists to support these clinics, which depend on our equipment and expertise to make them possible.”
The organization has experienced significant growth in clinic requests. This year alone, ADCF will support 28 clinics, and Blasing estimates the number will grow to 30 or more next year. In order to meet this challenge, it is embarking on a fundraising campaign to purchase an additional semi-trailer rig and equipment to support increased demand. Learn more at adcf.net.
