
CDC Says Masking in Healthcare Facilities Is No Longer Necessary
Unless located in areas where community spread of COVID-19 is high, healthcare providers, including dental practices, no longer need to require mandatory masking for patients and clinicians, according to updated guidance from the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The federal agency is revising many of its pandemic-era policies, as the risks posed by COVID-19 diminish.
