White House Issues Freeze on EPA Final Rule for Dental Effluent Limitation Guidelines

Dental practitioners will have to wait awhile longer for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Final Rule – Effluent Limitations Guidelines and Standards for the Dental Category since the Office of the White House Press Secretary issued a freeze on Jan. 20 on all regulations submitted for publication, but not in effect.

The final rule, which was scheduled for publication in the Federal Register on Jan. 27, is pending a review by the new presidential administration.
