Kansas City University Opens New Dental School

Kansas City University in Joplin, Missouri, is dealing with the region’s shortage of dental providers by opening a new dental school. The Harry M. Cornell Dental Education Center — a $65 million teaching facility — will help increase the number of dentist providers in the areas of southwest Missouri, southeast Kansas, northwest Arkansas, and northeast Oklahoma.
