Ultradent Unveils New Temporary Dental Cement

UltraTemp REZ II from Ultradent (800-552-5512; ultradent.com) is a new temporary dental cement for provisional crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and small direct restorations. The new cement features hydrophilic, resin-based chemistry that helps ensure low irritation and optimal sealing. It was developed for longer retention needs (two to four weeks), and comes in a dual-barrel syringe with mixing tips that provides an even mix for reliable results. The cement features a non-eugenol formula that will not interfere with resin bonding. With its convenient delivery system, UltraTemp REZ II saves chairtime and, when needed, is quickly removed. Designed to fluoresce under a black light for easy identification, the radiopaque material is available in fast-set and regular-set versions
