
Dentists Exhibit Much Lower SARS-CoV-2 Rates Than Other Healthcare Providers
A recent study published in the Journal of the American Dental Association finds that dentists are at lower risk for contracting SARS-CoV-2 than other healthcare providers such as nurses and physicians. Based on data collected from June 2020 to November 2020, the rate of infection for dentists was only 2.6%. Dentists’ monthly incidence rate ranged from 0.2% to 1.1%, compared with 3.3% to 35.3% for healthcare providers. Click here to read more.
