
Although US COVID-19 Case Numbers Are Skyrocketing, Europe Is Epicenter of the Pandemic Once Again
While COVID-19 cases trend rapidly upward across the United States, with 500,000 new cases reported just this past week, the number of deaths has remained steady. Wisconsin, North Dakota, and South Dakota are the most impacted by the surge in American cases. However, Europe now appears to be the epicenter of the global pandemic once again, with the group of 53 countries reporting 1.5 million new cases over the past week. And unlike the US, Europe has also seen a significant increase in the number of deaths, with a 30% increase noted during the previous seven days.
