AADR Announces AADR MIND the Future Mentees
The American Association for Dental Research (AADR) has announced the 10 program participants/mentees for the inaugural class of the AADR Mentoring an Inclusive Network for a Diverse Workforce of the Future.
The American Association for Dental Research (AADR) has announced the 10 program participants/mentees for the inaugural class of the AADR Mentoring an Inclusive Network for a Diverse Workforce of the Future (AADR MIND the Future), which is part of a 5-year program, over $1.3 million grant funded by the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR).
The program is designed to build a vibrant and inclusive community of investigators whose participation is vital to advancing dental, oral and craniofacial research and improving the oral health of our nation, according to the AADR.
The program will offer one year of educational activities and interactive opportunities between mentors and mentees to support the development of a diverse oral and craniofacial biomedical research workforce.
The selected mentees are:

- Dina Garcia, Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia
- Cherice Hughes-Oliver, Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston

- Stephanie Momeni, Oregon Health & Science University, Portland
- Indra Mustapha, Howard University, Washington, D.C.
- Susana Maria Salazar Marocho, University of Mississippi, Jackson
