Colgate-Palmolive is responding to the coronavirus pandemic by:
- Making and donating 25 million soap bars to global agencies
- To create greater awareness for proper handwashing, Colgate-Palmolive is promoting the WHO #SafeHands Challenge across various media platforms
- Tennis star Sloane Stephens is also taking part in the #safehands challenge. Colgate is donating oral care products to her foundation which supports the health and well being of children in the Compton Unified School district
- Donating $20 million in health and hygiene products to community-based organizations
- Colgate is committed to provide $20 million in health and hygiene products to community-based organizations in the U.S. and abroad that have the infrastructure to distribute the donated product to those in most need in local communities
- Colgate will match $1 million dollars in employee donations for nonprofit partners supporting those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic
