Stanley M. Bergman, chairman of the Board and chief executive officer of Henry Schein, has received the National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) President’s Award for his support of NNOHA, and his personal, professional, and humanitarian accomplishments. Bergman received the award at the 2019 NNOHA Annual Conference in Las Vegas on October 14.
Henry Schein has collaborated with NNOHA, an organization that works to improve the oral health of underserved populations through leadership, advocacy, and by providing support to oral health providers in safety-net systems, on the development of the NNOHA website and to create the “How to Build a Community Dental Clinic” guide, a resource for building a new community health center.
Henry Schein and NNOHA created the Corporate Advisory Committee, a board of dental industry partners committed to helping NNOHA succeed through financial support and in-kind resources. To support Community Health Centers (CHCs) and their unique organizational requirements, Henry Schein also added CHC features into Dentrix, its market-leading dental practice management software that provides solutions for both the clinical and business side of a dental practice.
