Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky, has appointed John Norton Williams Jr., DMD, MBA, as interim president.
Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky, has appointed John Norton Williams Jr., DMD, MBA, as interim president. Williams will begin his post on Aug. 15, 2019.
Williams is returning to his alma mater after completing a 9-year term as dean of Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Current university President Seamus Carey is leaving to serve as president of Iona College in New York. Transylvania University will conduct a national search for a permanent president this summer.
