Dr. Ryan Hungate is the Chief Clinical and Strategy Officer of Henry Schein One, an orthodontist, and the founder of Simplifeye, Inc. As an entrepreneur, he has driven software automation for thousands of dental practices, integrating patient engagement technology and modern payment infrastructures. Before dentistry, Dr. Hungate contributed to the design of the Apple retail workflow with industry veteran Ron Johnson at Apple, Inc. He earned his DDS from Indiana University and completed his orthodontic specialty at the University of Southern California. Dr. Hungate pioneered new orthognathic surgical planning methods and patented a 3D surgical splint to enhance surgical accuracy. Currently, as Chief Clinical and Strategy Officer at Henry Schein One, he leads the integration of dental specialty modules, the medico-dental interoperability initiative, and focuses on nextgeneration revenue cycle management automation. He resides in Indianapolis, IN, with his amazing wife, Lauren.
