In 2009, Dr. Dar Radfar had the unfortunate experience of falling asleep at the wheel and crashing his car into a tree. He was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea, which causes daytime sleepiness along with various medical conditions that affect the heart and whole body. He has since dedicated his career to helping dental patients with snoring and sleep apnea issues. A diplomat of the American Sleep & Breathing Academy and a TMJ specialist, Dr. Radfar has helped over 5,000 patients sleep better, experience fewer jaw issues, and improve gum, teeth, and overall health.

Board certified in periodontics and dental implant surgery, Liliana Aranguren, DDS, MDSc, practices at the South Florida Center for Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in Boca Raton. Originally from Venezuela, her current practice interests include the full range of periodontal and implant procedures with an emphasis on regenerative, minimally invasive, and esthetic periodontics; immediate loading implant dentistry; accelerated orthodontics; and dental technology applications including robotics.
