Kimberly Lintag-Nguyen, EdD, MSDH, RDH, is an assistant professor in the Dental Hygiene Program at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond. She serves as the program’s academic coordinator and chair of the Dental Hygiene Curriculum Management Committee. Teaching both junior and seniors in preclinical and clinical courses, Lintag-Nguyen directs courses on infection and immunity, dental materials, and dental hygiene theory II, III, and IV. Her research interests include patient and clinician health and safety, radiology, and student engagement. She is a member of Dimensions of Dental Hygiene’s Editorial Advisory Board. Noel Parreira, BSDH, RDH, is a recent graduate of the Dental Hygiene Program at Virginia Commonwealth University where she served as president of the 2025 class. She is currently working as a temporary dental hygienist in Richmond, Virginia, gaining experience in a variety of settings. Initially, she worked as an endodontic assistant and dental assistant. Parreira’s professional interests include research and caring for patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
