Meghan A. McGuinness, RDH, MA, EdD, is a professor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at State University of New York Broome Community College in Binghamton. Rod Tataryn, DDS, MS, practices endodontics in Spokane, Washington, and serves on faculty in the Department of Endodontics at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Loma Linda, California. Yoshiharu Hayashi, DDS, is a general dentist practicing in Tokyo and an adjunct professor at Nihon University School of Dentistry at Matsudo’s Department of Oral Implantology. A diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), he is also a continuing education faculty member at Meikai University School of Dentistry and Asahi University School of Dentistry in Japan.

Gigi Meinecke, RN, DMD, FAGD, maintains a private practice specializing in cosmetic dentistry and facial esthetics in Potomac, Maryland. A fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), International College of Dentists and American College of Dentists, she serves as a spokesperson for the AGD and chair of the American Dental Association Council on Communications. Laurie Brenchley, RDH, BS, is a graduate student in the dental hygiene program at Idaho State University in Pocatello. She also serves as a clinical research specialist at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, where she manages protocols investigating patients with immune dysfunction and oral mucosal immunity.
