Bryan J. Frantz, DMD, MS, is a past president of the American Academy of Periodontology and a member of Decisions in Dentistry’s Editorial Advisory Board. He is also an associate professor in the Department of Periodontology and Oral Implantology at Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, and the Department of Periodontics at Eastman Dental Center, School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Rochester in New York.
