Takanari Miyamoto, DDS, MSD, PhD, MBA, is an associate professor and former chair of the Department of Periodontics at Creighton University School of Dentistry. A diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, he maintains a private practice limited to periodontology and implantology in La Vista, Nebraska.

Melissa S. Lang, DDS, MS, is an associate professor in the Department of Periodontics at Creighton University School of Dentistry, and also practices periodontics in La Vista, Nebraska. A diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, she serves on the test construction team for the National Board Dental Exam, Part II.

Courtney P. Rudick, RDH-EA, MA, CHES, is a doctoral student in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha.
