Heather B. Allen, RDH, BSDH, MSHCM, is an assistant professor of clinical comprehensive dentistry at LSUHSC-NO) School of Dentistry She has been the recipient of the Golden Apple Award eight times, and serves as a liaison to the American Dental Education Association Commission on Change and Innovation in Dental Education. Toby J. Cheramie, DDS, practiced in the private sector for 10 years before joining the faculty at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans (LSUHSC-NO) School of Dentistry in 2003. An associate professor in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry, he has received six Golden Apple Awards in Teaching Excellence, as well as the Dr. Alan Copping Award in Teaching Excellence. Cheramie has lectured at the local and national level about the use of hypnosis in dentistry.
Sarah B. Hoerler, RDH, MS, is a dental hygienist in the Department of Dental Specialties, Division of Periodontics at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Sarah Kay Youny Lee, DDS, MS, FACP, is a board-certified maxillofacial prosthodontist in the Department of Dental Specialties, Division of Esthetic and Prosthetic Dentistry, and the associate program director of the Advanced Education in Graduate Prosthodontics at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
