Chris Griffin, DDS, FAGD, FIDIA, is in private practice in Ripley, Mississippi. A lecturer on clinical topics and practice management, he also serves as president of Effective Dentistry, a continuing education provider. Rahma Mungia, BDS, MSc, DDPHRCS, is an associate professor in the Department of Periodontics at UT Health San Antonio. She is the director of STOHN and assistant director of the Southwest Region of the National Dental Practice-Based Research Network.
Melanie V. Taverna, MSDH, MAADH, is an assistant professor and clinical faculty member in the Division of Dental Hygiene at the University of Texas Health San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio). She is also director of the university’s Master of Science in dental hygiene program and serves as assistant director for the South Texas Oral Health Network (STOHN). Emily R. Holt, MHA, RDH, CDA, EFDA, is a clinical professor of dental hygiene at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville. In 2020, she became a certified Positive Approach to Care independent trainer and educates dental professionals about dementia and behavioral approaches. Holt, who practices dental hygiene part time in Evansville, is also a consultant member of the examination team for the Commission on Dental Competency Assessments, the Western Regional Examining Board and Council of Interstate Testing Agencies. Katie Brydon, LCSW, LAC, MAC, EMDR-c, is a licensed clinical social worker and a licensed addiction counselor in Colorado. Her practice focuses on eye movement desensitization and reprocessing-based treatment of complex psychological trauma and advanced treatment of addictions. Brydon is a founder of Road to Me Recovery, co-founder of Genesis Behavioral Health, and clinical director of Lighthouse Recovery.
Susanna Kayserman, DDS, practiced cosmetic and restorative dentistry from 1995 to 2022. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of Osseointegration. She has taught residents at Staten Island University Hospital and is actively involved in her local dental society.
