Donna Smith, BSDH, MSEd, RDHAP, is retired faculty from the Division of Periodontology and Dental Hygiene at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She currently teaches in the Department of Dental Hygiene at West Los Angeles College in Culver City. She has lectured across the United States and abroad. The recipient of numerous teaching awards during her academic career, Smith has more than 45 years of experience in both private practice and education.
