Vanessa Cushman, RDA, is a Michigan-based dental therapy student who attends Skagit Valley College in Mt. Vernon, Washington. She plans to return to her Michigan-based employer, My Community Dental Centers, upon graduation. Cushman’s educational journey is supported by the Michigan Primary Care Association (MPCA) Dental Therapy Scholarship, funded by the Delta Dental Foundation and Michigan Health Endowment Fund, and by the MPCA Equitable Access to Education Program funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
